More Weekend Stuff!

Recent activities also included climbing Friday night at the gym. There was a citizens climbing competition that did not include a kids category so Zoe entered as a beginner and competed against adults. She placed within the top 5. Tobi and I competed in the Mens Advanced and who really cares how we did! Also, we have been doing a lot of bike riding with the kids and wanted to include a video. Thanks to everyone who came by the rock and gem show. Zoe and Noah picked up some new rocks. They also got to break the rocks apart, so you can see inside them, as you see Noah doing in the picture (watch your fingers bud). They also had a nice booth were they displayed their rocks! It was a full day....

Reminder today and tomorrow is the Utah Rock and Gem show at the Utah state fair park. And Noah and Zoe have a display! 2$ entrance fee

April 19th

Its been 11 years, hard to believe. So instead of being sappy im going to give you a link that reminded me of my mom. She got kicked out of Walmart for taking pictures of people (especially those with extra girth) and when I saw these pictures it made me laugh.

april 13th

Well winter isnt done yet up at brighton. So Noah and I took advantage of it and went riding. The day was not done yet so we capped it off with some climbing at Momentum climbing gym. Here is video of both enjoy...

bike break

Took a bike break from paper work. I am working on Mels bike right now so she borrowed Dustins. This was her 1st time on a track bike, and she is not sold. I will post photos when i am done with her bike. Kids were happy to get out side and ride. Top it off with a wonderful meal Mel made artichoke bruschetta, and avocado & goat cheese wraps w/ fresh veggies and a salad w/ blue cheese, spring lettuce and spinach w/ roasted seasoned walnuts and apple. YUMMMM!!!!!

100th update

We took the kids up again night riding at Brighton but i forgot the camera, sorry..... The weather is becoming a little more mild. However this time of year can be very depressing mainly because we cram and finish our taxes before the 15th. Here is what the office looks like right now! Yikes. And we just found out Noah may have asthma bummer...

april 5th

Well it has not quite been the type of weather to enjoy riding our bikes. However, we have been able to enjoy the crazy april. I got a 2011 reverse camber Hero from the guys at Burton and Jenna got a one from Forum(at cost!). These are next years boards so we were amped to go riding..... and Noah always is excited even if he is renting every time! So we decided to head up to Brighton and it was awesome! Zoe is on spring break an it has not warmed up yet so we are taking the kids up to enjoy the fresh snow. With the last storm system that has run through Brighton has got 32 inches in last 48 hrs WOW! I will try and post some photos or film from tomorrow.....
